Job Title: Defensive Coordinator  - Hempstead ISD High School Football (Bobcats) Reports to: Head Football Coach; Athletic Director Position Summary: Lead the development, planning, and execution of the high school football defensive program for Hempstead Bobcats. Build a disciplined, fundamentally-sound unit that emphasizes player development, sportsmanship, academic accountability, and readiness for college, career, or military paths. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and adjust defensive game plans and play-calling during contests. We are in search of a coach who is certified in 6-12 Math.  Coaching position will be the best fit based on the candidates strengths & our needs.  This could be a boys or a girls coaching position.  This position could also be Head Golf for the right candidate.
