Location: Galena Park Middle School – Galena Park ISD
Start Date: August 2025
Position Summary:
Galena Park Middle School is seeking a passionate and committed Assistant Coach for Football and Boys' Basketball to lead and develop student-athletes. This full-time position includes a dedicated athletic period during the school day and is ideal for educators who are motivated to build strong, competitive, and character-driven programs.
Coaching Responsibilities:
- Assistant Coach for Middle School Football
- Assistant Coach for Middle School Boys' Basketball
- Assistant Coach for Middle School Boys' Track
Teaching Assignment & Certification Requirements:
- Full-time teaching position with an athletic period included
- Teaching certification in one of the following areas is required:

- 4-8 Generalist
- 4-8 History
- 4-8 Science
- There is a possibility that other teaching areas will be available. NO HEALTH OR PE!!!
