Defensive Coordinator/ Head Powerlifting

Schulenburg ISD is seeking an energetic, high-character leader to join our coaching staff as Defensive Coordinator and Head Powerlifting Coach. Key Responsibilities

• Defensive Coordinator: Help direct all aspects of the varsity defense, including scheme installation, scouting reports, and position coach development.

• Head Powerlifting: Lead the boys' and girls' powerlifting programs, overseeing strength cycles, meet coordination, and technique instruction.

• Teacher/Mentor: Maintain high standards in the classroom and contribute to the overall positive culture of the campus.

Candidate Requirements

• Valid Texas Teaching Certificate in one of the fields listed above.

• Knowledge of powerlifting mechanics and TTHSPA/THSWPA regulations.

• A "blue-collar" work ethic and a "student-first" mentality.
