Head Baseball Coach and Assistant Football. Teaching Field - Open

Looking for an experienced baseball coach who can also coach football.  Football position could be offensive or defensive position, so best fit. Teaching field is social studies. We just passed 2 bonds.  One for a new high school which will include a turf baseball facility and one for a new 7500 person district multipurpose stadium! We are a fast growing district and want someone who is ready to come in and help us further develop the program!

The assistant organizes and directs individual and small group practice activities and exercises as instructed by the head coach and assists in determining game strategy. The candidate must be a highly effective classroom teacher and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. Prior knowledge of a Spread Offense is a plus.  Teaching Field: Social Studies. Science. SpEd. Must be fully certified.

Prior knowledge of a 4-2-5 Defense is a plus.  Teaching Field: Social Studies. Science. SpEd. Must be fully certified. 

Runge is looking for an assistant coach for the 2026-2027 school year. Football went 8-3 with the schools first District Title in 30 years. We are only losing one 2-way starter from last year’s team. We have also dropped to Div 2. Other accolades: Volleyball District Champs, Girls Golf District Champs, Boys Track District Champs, Baseball and Softball District Champs.
