Job Description Queen City ISD is looking for a Varsity Head Boys Basketball Coach to join a new staff of elite coaches.  We are looking for someone who believes in the power of culture and who's motived to take our program to the next level.  We have a great group of kids returning and an incredible MS class coming up.  The assistant basketball coach is a young, three time Texas state championship football player, who played D-line for Texas A&M and Indiana.   QCHS competes in a very competitive North East Texas district at the 3A-D2 level.  Head Coaching experience is preferred but not required. Valley View is located in North Texas right along I-35. We give easy access to the metroplex but far enough away to be a small town. We will be in District 8-3A this realignment. Our basketball team was competitive in most district games this past season and should be a in a good spot to make a run at the playoffs and be a successful program for years to come. JH groups are bigger and have had very good seasons in all sports.  Secondary sports of football and track (everyone coaches track that is not coaching baseball). Valley View offers a very competitive pay scale, stipends per sport, stipend for CDL and a retention bonus at Thanksgiving.  Teaching field is special ed, science or social studies (also possibility of a edginuity monitoring class).
