Responsible for all aspects of the program, including developing training and game plans, managing assistant coaches, and ensuring student athletes are eligible and adhere to school and UIL rules . Key duties include coordinating practices and games, teaching skills and strategy, promoting sportsmanship, and maintaining communication with students, parents, and the school administration. The coach must also manage the budget and care for equipment and facilities.
We are looking for a certified Social Studies Teacher for the 26-27 school year. This will be a HS Social Studies position with 2 athletic periods and a conference, with possible pre-athletics duties. The coaching assignment will be HS Football (best fit Offense or Defense), HS assistant basketball, or HS track. We are flexible with positions desired. It will be coaching only two sports. A CDL is required for this opportunity or willing to obtain before the school year begins. Howe is a growing community that is 40 minutes South of Lake Texoma.
