Job Posting: Head Girls Soccer Coach
R.L. Paschal High School – Fort Worth ISD (Fort Worth, TX)
Position Summary
R.L. Paschal High School is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head Girls Soccer Coach to lead and grow a competitive, student-centered soccer program. The head coach will oversee all aspects of the girls soccer program, including athlete development, program management, and compliance with UIL and district guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of the girls soccer program (Varsity, JV, and sub-varsity levels)
- Develop and implement effective training programs and practice plans to enhance player performance
- Plan, organize, and supervise practices, competitions, and team events
- Foster a positive team culture emphasizing discipline, sportsmanship, and academic success
- Supervise and evaluate assistant coaches and support staff
- Coordinate game schedules, travel, equipment, and program logistics
- Ensure compliance with UIL, district, and campus athletic policies
- Monitor student-athlete academic progress and eligibility
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, staff, and administration
- Maintain inventory and oversee ordering of equipment and uniforms
- Promote the program within the school and community
Minimum Qualifications
- Previous head coaching experience (high school or higher) is required
- Demonstrated success in coaching soccer at the secondary or competitive level
- Strong knowledge of soccer fundamentals, strategy, and player development
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with athletic department staff and campus leadership
- Must meet all UIL and Texas Education Agency coaching certification requirements
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) or ability to obtain CDL
Preferred Qualifications
- Teaching certification or ability to obtain a teaching position in FWISD
- Experience coaching girls soccer at the high school level
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Current CDL certification and experience driving athletes to competitions
Work Schedule
- Seasonal with year-round program development expectations
- Practices and games held after school hours and on weekends
