Bandera ISD is looking for an assistant football and basketball coach. We are looking for a History Teacher but we may be able to be flexible due to DOI. Must either be certified or in a certification program to be considered.  Must also have CDL or be willing to obtain.   Bandera ISD is a 4 day instructional week. We also participate in in TIA, which can pay up to 25k every year for 5 years to those who qualify (year and a half process to qualify).  This is in addition to the salary and stipends.  If you've ever wanted to live in the hill country and coach, this may be your chance! The Football Offensive Assistant supports the head coach and offensive coordinator by assisting with game planning, organizing practice, coaching a specific position group, and instructing players on the rules, regulations, equipment, and proper techniques of the sport. The assistant organizes and directs individual and small group practice activities and exercises as instructed by the head coach and assists in determining game strategy. The candidate must be a highly effective classroom teacher and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. Prior knowledge of a Spread Offense is a plus.  Teaching Field: Social Studies. Science. SpEd. Must be fully certified.
