In search of a Head Girls Basketball Coach who will manage and implement all aspects of the girls basketball program in grades 7-12.  The girls are back-to-back Regional Finalists with a majority of the team returning.  Will also be Assistant Volleyball.  Third sport could be discussed when interviewing. Teaching fields possible are 7-12 Math, Elementary P.E., or Secondary Health/PE. Must have a valid Texas Teaching Certificate or be in an Alternative Certification Program.  We are a District of Innovation so we have some options to work with you on the teaching field.  Must also have a CDL or the ability to obtain as soon as possible. Runge is looking for an assistant coach for the 2026-2027 school year. Offensive Line experience preferred. Football went 8-3 with the schools first District Title in 30 years. We are only losing one 2-way starter from last year’s team. We have also dropped to Div 2. Teaching field is open as of now. Head coaching opportunities for winter/springs are available as well. The candidate must be a highly effective classroom teacher and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. Prior knowledge of a Spread Offense is a plus.  Teaching Field: OPEN. Coordinate the program 7th grade thru 12th grade with total control of the scheme.  Performance Coordinator is much like an associate head with responsibilities being the student athlete performance in the class room as well as tracking the weight room progress, and recruiting.  Head Powerlifting responsibility for the boys side , as well as head track coach for the boys side.  Alba Golden is a 4 day a week school with Fridays off.  We work 1 Friday a month This is a great opportunity to gain build a strong defense with some admin responsibilities.
