Runge is looking for an assistant coach for the 2026-2027 school year. Offensive Line experience preferred. Football went 8-3 with the schools first District Title in 30 years. We are only losing one 2-way starter from last year’s team. We have also dropped to Div 2. Other accolades: Volleyball District Champs, Girls Golf District Champs, Boys Track District Champs, Baseball and Softball District Champs. Regional Qualifiers in Cross Country, Powerlifting, Boys Golf, Track. State Qualifier in Girls Track. Teaching field is open as of now. Valley View is located along I35 in North Texas. Easy access to the metroplex but just far enough away to be a small town. We are looking for an assistant boys coach to help with football, basketball and track, possible baseball. Valley View offers a very competitive salary, stipends per sport, stipend for CDL and retention bonus paid at Thanksgiving. Plainview High School (in the Texas Panhandle) has just dropped from 5A to 4A. We are in a 4 team district this new realignment. Looking for an energetic and knowledgeable QB coach and Pass Game Coordinator. Prefer a coach with some QB coaching experience or, at the very least, played QB at the college or high school level. Please apply also if you have a Pass Game Coordinator experience, even if you have not coached QBs. The QB coach is responsible for developing QBs from the 7th - 12th grades.
