Grand Oaks High School is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Varsity Football Coach to join our outstanding athletic program. We are looking for an energetic, organized, and knowledgeable coach who is passionate about developing student-athletes and contributing to a championship-caliber program. This individual will play a vital role in fostering excellence on the field, in the classroom, and within the community.  Experience with coaching the offensive line or tight ends is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in coaching and developing the varsity football program and offensive side of ball. 
• Teach fundamental and advanced football skills, techniques, and strategies.
• Support strength and conditioning programs during the offseason.
• Promote a culture of excellence, teamwork, sportsmanship, and academic achievement.
• Mentor student-athletes to support their personal growth and leadership development.
• Assist with game preparation, film breakdown, scouting, and practice planning.
• Supervise athletes during practices, competitions, and team activities.
• Collaborate with fellow coaches, faculty, and administration to support program goals.
• Adhere to all UIL, district, and campus policies and procedures.
• Contribute positively to the overall mission and culture of Grand Oaks Athletics.
• Second sport could be basketball, baseball, track, or power lifting. 

Qualifications:

• Coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level preferred.
• Strong knowledge of offensive football fundamentals, strategy, and player development.
• Texas teaching certification in Math, Science, Social Studies, or English.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to developing student-athletes both academically and athletically.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with students, parents, and staff.
• CDL certification or willingness to obtain one is preferred.
