Quarterbacks Coach + 2nd Sport

Plainview High School (in the Texas Panhandle) has just dropped from 5A to 4A. We are in a 4 team district this new realignment.

Looking for an energetic and knowledgeable QB coach and Pass Game Coordinator. Prefer a coach with some QB coaching experience or, at the very least, played QB at the college or high school level. Please apply also if you have a Pass Game Coordinator experience, even if you have not coached QBs. The QB coach is responsible for developing QBs from the 7th - 12th grades. If called for an interview, the expectation is to have plans in place to develop QBs at each level. Another expectation is spring QB school/clinic for all program QBs. We run a multiple spread offense out of multiple personnel groups with zone and gap scheme runs, RPOs for those runs, screens, quick game, sprint out, and drop back.

Teaching Field: CERTIFIED Core subjects, SPED (absolutely no PE or Health)

No CDL required. 

Salary: Base Pay (https://www.plainviewisd.org/documents/departments/human-resource-services/pay-plans/22941088) + $7000 football stipend + $2,500-4,500 depending on 2nd sport

Plainview ISD pays $447 per month/per employee towards health care insurance premiums available through the District. Premium expense above $447 per month is the responsibility of the employee.

Plainview ISD offers a $10,000 life insurance policy for each employee--at no cost to the employee.

The district provides an online Employee Assistance Program (EAP) at no cost to the employee.

Full access to the PISD Education Center’s gym and fitness facility (5 a.m.– 8 p.m., daily) at no cost to the employee.
