Humble High School is seeking a passionate, energetic, and student-centered Defensive Line Coach to join our football staff. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing defensive linemen at the varsity and sub-varsity levels while contributing to the overall success of the football program and athletic department. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to excellence, character development, academic achievement, and building positive relationships with student-athletes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Coaching Responsibilities
Coach and develop defensive linemen within the program's defensive scheme and philosophy.
Plan and implement position-specific drills, techniques, and practice activities.
Develop players' fundamentals, including stance, alignment, hand placement, block destruction, pass rush techniques, and tackling.
Assist with game planning, film breakdown, scouting reports, and opponent analysis.
