Denton High School is seeking a passionate and dedicated educator to lead and manage all aspects of the girls basketball program, including planning practices, developing student-athletes’ skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting sportsmanship and academic success. Oversees program organization, scheduling, equipment, and compliance with district and UIL guidelines.
As a secondary teacher, delivers engaging instruction aligned to state standards for grades 9–12, monitors student progress, differentiates instruction to meet diverse needs, and maintains a positive, structured classroom environment. Collaborates with colleagues, communicates effectively with parents and stakeholders, and supports the overall mission and culture of the school.

Qualifications:
Valid Texas teaching certification (certification area is flexible)
Coaching experience in basketball (head coaching experience preferred but not required)
