Frisco Heritage High School is seeking a dedicated, energetic, and highly motivated professional to join our academic and athletic community. We are currently looking for a 1st Assistant Boys Basketball Coach who is committed to developing student-athletes both on the court and in the classroom.

Coaching Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary assistant to the Head Boys Basketball Coach, aiding in practice planning, game strategy, and overall program development.

• Coach a second sport (specific sport is open and will be determined based on the candidate's expertise and the needs of the athletic department).

• Foster a positive, competitive, and character-building environment for all student-athletes.

• Assist with equipment management, program administration, and off-season strength and conditioning.

Teaching Opportunities

The successful candidate must be highly qualified to teach in the classroom. We currently have teaching possibilities available in the following core departments:

• English

• Social Studies

• Mathematics

• Science

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid state teaching certification in one of the subject areas listed above.

• Prior basketball coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level is strongly preferred.

• Transportation Requirement: Candidates must currently possess or be entirely willing to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) to assist with team travel and transportation.

• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
