Position Summary
The Assistant Soccer Coach supports the head coach in managing the high school soccer program. Responsibilities include assisting with training sessions, game-day duties, player development, and promoting sportsmanship and academic achievement. This role plays a key part in building a positive team culture and representing the school with integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Head Coach in planning and leading practices and drills.
Support in organizing team strategies, game plans, and in-game adjustments.
Supervise and mentor student-athletes on and off the field.
Promote teamwork, discipline, and respect among players.
Monitor players’ academic progress and eligibility.
Ensure adherence to school, district, and athletic association policies.
Help manage equipment, uniforms, and facilities.
