Primary Purpose: The high school athletic trainer is responsible for the health and safety of all the student-athletes on their campus. They will develop and manage a student-trainer program. They will need to foster a professional relationship with coaches, parents, student-athletes, student-trainers, and administrators. Work along side the current athletic trainer. Help supervise all injuries, help rehab athletes attend home athletic events and good communication with parents. Hours can be discussed with the AD and the current athletic trainer. We serve one HS and one MS. 4A HS in STEX.   Pay is teacher pay scale that can be located at www.bridgecityisd.net , plus stipend and 207 day contract. Looking for a head district athletic trainer who will oversee the well being of the student athletes in grades 7-12.  You will have an assistant who is contracted, but will assist with practices and games. You will be on a 207 day contract and receive a $10K stipend on top. Must be licensed. No teaching responsibilities. Ozona is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer. We have a primary, fully-stocked, training room in our new field house with an office, a storage room, 4 training tables, 3 taping tables, and 3 whirlpools. We have an additional, fully -stocked, new training room in our gyms with 2 more training tables. Possible January hire. We are adding this position in our district (2A district with approximately 260 students in the JH & HS) and need someone who can manage and operate all aspects of an athletic training program for grades 7-12. Pay is based on the Standard FISD Teacher Pay Scale + a $12,000 stipend.  We are an A rated school district, with supportive administration, and a great community.
