The Football Defensive Assistant supports the head coach and defensive coordinator by assisting with game planning, organizing practice, coaching a specific position group, and instructing players on the rules, regulations, equipment, and proper techniques of the sport. The assistant organizes and directs individual and small group practice activities and exercises as instructed by the head coach and assists in determining game strategy. The candidate must be a highly effective classroom teacher and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. Prior knowledge of a 4-2-5 Defense is a plus.  Teaching Field: OPEN. No PE and No Health.

Looking for assistant coaches on both sides of the football (QB or best fit; DL or DB) Varsity QB (possible pass game coordinator) - Prefer a coach with some coaching experience and at the very least, played QB at the college level. The QB coach is responsible for developing QBs from the 7th - 12th grades. If called for an interview, the expectation is to have plans in place to develop QBs at each level. Another expectation is spring QB school/clinic for all program QBs. We run a multiple spread offense out of multiple personnel groups with zone and gap scheme runs, RPOs for those runs, screens, quick game, sprint out, and drop back. Graduating QB threw for nearly 3,000 yards just in the regular season. We are looking for an assistant boys coach to help with football, basketball and track, possible baseball. Valley View offers a very competitive salary, stipends per sport, stipend for CDL and retention bonus paid at Thanksgiving. We are looking for the best fit for football, currently needing offensive line or secondary as the priority.  Also, have a stipend available for a strength and conditioning coordinator for the right applicant.
