Position Title: Varsity Offensive Line Coach (1 of 2 OL coaches) / Assistant Track Coach
School: Allen High School – Allen ISD
Level: 6A – High School
Program Overview
Allen Football and Allen Track & Field are committed to developing tough, disciplined, high-character student‑athletes who compete at a championship level in the classroom and on the field. We are seeking a coach who is passionate about teaching fundamentals, building relationships, and contributing to a team‑first culture.
Coaching Responsibilities – Football (Offensive Line)
- Work to develop the OL within the Allen Eagle Football Program
- Teach stance, footwork, blocking schemes, pass protection, and physical play with great detail
- Contribute to offensive game planning, film breakdown (e.g., Hudl), scouting, and practice scripting
- Help organize and lead offseason development and strength & conditioning sessions
- Maintain high expectations for effort, discipline, and accountability on and off the field
Coaching Responsibilities – Track & Field (Assistant)
- Assist with practice planning, event‑group instruction (sprints/throws/jumps/distance based on background), and meet‑day coaching
- Support in-season and offseason speed, power, and conditioning development for multi‑sport athletes
- Help manage meet entries, event groups, and communication with athletes and families
Required Qualifications
- Prior football coaching experience (offensive line experience strongly preferred)
- Ability to teach and model strong fundamentals, effort, and toughness
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively on a large staff
- High moral character, strong work ethic, and commitment to serving student‑athletes
- Meets all Allen ISD and UIL requirements for coaching and employment
- Valid Texas teaching certificate in Social Studies, Science, Math or English
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience coaching at the high school or college level
- Track & field coaching experience
- Experience with film and analytics platforms (e.g., ANSRS, Hudl)
- CDL with passenger endorsement, or willingness to obtain
- Background in strength & conditioning or offseason program development
Personal Qualities
- Relationship‑driven and able to connect with diverse student‑athletes
- Detail‑oriented planner with high practice‑organization standards (tempo, reps, and teaching)
- Positive, competitive, and team‑first; willing to support the entire athletic program and multi‑sport participation
