Plainview High School (in the Texas Panhandle) has just dropped from 5A to 4A. We are in a 4 team district this new realignment. Looking for an energetic, knowledgeable, and highly motivated defensive backs coach (Specific position: Corners but will take best fit). May include Pass Game Coordinator for the right candidate. Tarkington ISD is seeking highly motivated candidates for Offensive Coordinator or Defensive Coordinator positions. Teaching fields attached include English and Social Studies. CDL is preferred. Second sport opportunities are available and may include Head Track responsibilities. Bachelor's Degree from an approved institution. Or in an alternative cert. program to obtain a valid teaching certificate. The development, instruction, and mentorship of student athletes with a focus on the defensive side of the ball. Including but not contributing and implementing defensive schemes, techniques, film study, strength and conditioning coordination, and leadership development while supporting the overall goals and culture of the football program.  This person must be able to plan and implement a sound public school instructional program.  Must also communicate effectively with students, coworkers and patrons.  This person must keep informed of and comply with state, district, school, and UIL policies and regulations concerning primary job functions.
