The Woodlands High School is seeking an experienced, highly motivated and dedicated Varsity Defensive Assistant Coach (Best Fit)   to join our staff. We are looking for an energetic and knowledgeable coach who is passionate about developing student-athletes at all levels.  Coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level preferred. Strong knowledge of defensive football fundamentals, strategy, and player development. Texas teaching certification in any subject . Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. CDL certification or willingness to obtain one is preferred . Work to provide each student with the opportunity to participate in an extracurricular athletic activity and ensure compliance with all state, University Interscholastic League (UIL), and local requirements. Qualifications: Education/Certification: • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university • Valid Texas Teaching Certificate • Current first aid, automated external defibrillator (AED), and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certificate • Clear and valid Texas commercial driver’s license with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements or be able to obtain in the first year.
