Fredericksburg High School is looking to hire an assistant football coach. We are looking for the best fit available, with a possible second sport of soccer, baseball, or track. The teaching field is open with no PE. Collegiate playing or coaching experience is preferred but not required. Fredericksburg ISD is a District of Innovation, so applicants do not have to be certified teachers to apply, but should be enrolled in an alternative certification program. Looking for an experienced baseball coach who can also coach football.  Football position could be offensive or defensive position, so best fit. Teaching field is social studies. We just passed 2 bonds.  One for a new high school which will include a turf baseball facility and one for a new 7500 person district multipurpose stadium! We are a fast growing district and want someone who is ready to come in and help us further develop the program!

Plainview High School (in the Texas Panhandle) has just dropped from 5A to 4A. We are in a 4 team district this new realignment. Looking for an energetic and knowledgeable QB coach and Pass Game Coordinator. Prefer a coach with some QB coaching experience or, at the very least, played QB at the college or high school level. Please apply also if you have a Pass Game Coordinator experience, even if you have not coached QBs. The QB coach is responsible for developing QBs from the 7th - 12th grades. If called for an interview, the expectation is to have plans in place to develop QBs at each level. Another expectation is spring QB school/clinic for all program QBs. The Football Offensive Assistant supports the head coach and offensive coordinator by assisting with game planning, organizing practice, coaching a specific position group, and instructing players on the rules, regulations, equipment, and proper techniques of the sport. The assistant organizes and directs individual and small group practice activities and exercises as instructed by the head coach and assists in determining game strategy.
