Multiple Assistant Positions (Basketball/Football/Baseball/Track & Field)

Job Description

Robstown Early College High School is seeking a highly motivated and student-centered Assistant Coaches who also serves as a Core Subject Teacher. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong instructional practices in the classroom, leadership on and off the field, and the ability to build and manage a successful Athletic program aligned with school and district values.

Teaching Responsibilities

  • Teach an assigned core academic subject (e.g., Math, Science) in accordance with state standards and district curriculum.

Coaching Responsibilities

  • Serve as Assistant Coach, responsible for maintaining the Athletic Program
  • Assist in the following: Plan, organize, and lead practices, meets, and off-season activities.
  • Develop student-athletes’ skills while promoting sportsmanship, discipline, and academic accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with school, district, and state athletic regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, administrators, and staff.
  • Assist in the following: Manage equipment, facilities, scheduling, and program budgets as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Valid teaching certification in a core subject area.
  • Preferred: Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or willingness to obtain one.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Commitment to student-athlete development, academics, and character building.

Compensation

  • Teaching salary based on district schedule.
  • Additional coaching stipend.
