Plains ISD is seeking a Head softball coach and a varsity assistant coach in Basketball and Volleyball. The Teaching field is flexible. This past season was the first softball season in school history. There is  tremendous excitement surrounding the new program. There are talented athletes coming into the program from all age groups. We are primed to build a very successful program that matches our district's state of the art facilities that include a soon to be built indoor athletic complex with bases and batting cages. We have a VERY competitive pay structure and school housing. We have a %4 matching annuity and pay $475 towards health insurance. Sport: Level Softball: JV/Varsity Description Currently 1 opening, TBD on whether it is a Varsity Assistant or a JV Coach Opening. Salary - depends on experience Stipend- JV$3,250 or VA $4,500 2nd sport: Yes for JV coach / None for Varsity Assistant Responsibilities Responsible for supporting the Head Coach in the supervision and development of the program. Duties include, but are not limited to: Assisting with planning and running game and practice sessions. Supporting the weekly monitoring of student-athletes and academic progress. CDL certifcaiton to drive a school bus. Assisting with community events and special nights. Carrying out assignments and tasks as directed by the Head Coach or Athletic Director.

Position: Head Football Coach/Athletic Coordinator Primary Purpose: Direct and Manage the athletic program at Weslaco East High School and its feeder schools.
