Position Summary The Assistant Girls Basketball Coach supports the head coach in managing the high school basketball program. Responsibilities include assisting with training sessions, game-day duties, player development, and promoting sportsmanship and academic achievement. This role plays a key part in building a positive team culture and representing the school with integrity. Key Responsibilities Assist the Head Coach in planning and leading practices and drills. Assist in planning and implementing offensive game strategies and practice plans. Analyze game film to improve player and team performance. Teach offensive terminology, reads, protections, and situational football concepts. Monitor student-athlete academic progress, behavior, and eligibility. Promote sportsmanship, discipline, teamwork, and character development. Supervise athletes during practices, games, workouts, travel, and team events.
