The assistant organizes and directs individual and small group practice activities and exercises as instructed by the head coach and assists in determining game strategy. The candidate must be a highly effective classroom teacher and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. Prior knowledge of a Spread Offense is a plus.  Teaching Field: OPEN. No PE and No Health

Florence High School is seeking a high-energy, dedicated, and knowledgeable coach to join our football coaching staff.  Key Responsibilities Scheme & Strategy: Implement a highly competitive defensive scheme. Create weekly game plans, design practice scripts, and make critical in-game adjustments. Player Development: Teach fundamental football skills, position-specific techniques, and football intelligence to student-athletes. We are in search of a coach who is certified in 6-12 Social Studies or History.  Coaching position will be the best fit based on the candidates strengths & our needs.  This could be a boys or a girls coaching position.  This position could be Head Golf for the right candidate. Standard Flatonia ISD Pay Scale + Stipends per sport + CDL stipend + Summer workouts stipend. Valid Texas Teaching Certificate & a CDL or the ability to obtain are required.
