The Woodlands High School is seeking an experienced, highly motivated and dedicated Varsity Defensive Assistant Coach (Best Fit)   to join our staff. We are looking for an energetic and knowledgeable coach who is passionate about developing student-athletes at all levels.  Coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level preferred. Strong knowledge of defensive football fundamentals, strategy, and player development. Texas teaching certification in any subject . Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. CDL certification or willingness to obtain one is preferred . Offensive position will be based on comfort, experience, and fit of the applicant offensively. Offensive Line, Running Backs, or WR are among the options. At this time, the teaching field is OPEN (Core & SPED anticipated), but no Health / PE. Candidate must be able to build meaningful relationships with the people around them and be passionate about growing and developing young people. Experience coaching and developing athletes in a spread offense is preferred, but not required. A detailed plan in how you develop your positions will be discussed in the interview process.
