The Football Defensive Assistant supports the head coach and defensive coordinator by assisting with game planning, organizing practice, coaching a specific position group, and instructing players on the rules, regulations, equipment, and proper techniques of the sport. The assistant organizes and directs individual and small group practice activities and exercises as instructed by the head coach and assists in determining game strategy. The candidate must be a highly effective classroom teacher and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. Prior knowledge of a 4-2-5 Defense is a plus.  Teaching Field: Social Studies. Science. SpEd. Must be fully certified. 

All responsibilities associated with running a high school wrestling program and being a classroom teacher.  Duties as assigned by the athletic director, campus athletic coordinator, and principal.  Must have a valid Texas teaching certificate and a CDL. Position Overview: MacArthur High School is seeking a Head Wrestling Coach.
