MacArthur HS Head Wrestling Coach

Position Overview:

MacArthur High School is seeking a Head Wrestling Coach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and conducting daily practices and training sessions 
• Support game-day operations, including strategy, player management, and logistics.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to student-athletes, promoting academic and personal growth.
• Help monitor athlete performance and contribute to conditioning and injury prevention programs.
• Maintain equipment and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Collaborate with coaching staff, athletic trainers, and school administration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree 
• Texas Teaching Certification
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• CDL/CPR/First Aid certification. (Must be willing to obtain- CDL)

Teaching Field:

• Science/Math/English

Great Pay!

Irving ISD- Last years pay scale

O Years Experience- $63,618

Wrestling  Stipend- $10,500

Total:  $74,118 (with zero years of experience) 

Example with 10 years experience-  73,630 + 10,500 = $84,130 

+ CDL Cert- Bus pay 

Coaches have added  3,000 -4,000 extra
