Position Overview
The Defensive Coordinator is responsible for leading, developing, and implementing all aspects of the defensive football program. This includes game planning, player development, staff coordination, and fostering a disciplined, high-energy culture aligned with the overall vision of the athletic program.

Key Responsibilities • Design, install, and execute a comprehensive defensive system (scheme, terminology, adjustments). • Develop weekly game plans, film breakdown, and opponent scouting reports. • Lead and mentor defensive position coaches; ensure alignment in techniques and expectations. • Coach and develop student-athletes in fundamentals, discipline, accountability, and leadership. • Oversee defensive practice planning, scripting, and organization. • Utilize film analysis tools (e.g., Hudl) for breakdown and self-scouting. • Collaborate with Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator, Special Teams Coordinator on overall team strategy and situational football....
