Sunnyvale Independent School District is seeking a Head Softball Coach to lead and build our girls softball program. Sunnyvale is committed to excellence across all girls athletics and continues to invest heavily in our facilities and student-athletes. We have recently completed brand-new turf outfields for softball and baseball, are building a new indoor facility, adding 5 new girls locker rooms, plus a new storage building and bullpen area for softball development. Our girls programs are highly competitive across the board: Cross Country sends girls to State every year. Volleyball has reached Round 3 the past two seasons. Girls Basketball is consistently a Top 10 program. Girls Track finished 3rd overall at State last year and looking to do better this year.  Girls Swim were Regional Champions this year.  State qualifier in Girls Tennis this year.  JV District Champions in Girls Golf this year.  Girls Soccer played in the State Championship this year....

Assistant Softball Coach  Experience:  Some experience as a high school assistant coach, knowledge and background to develop, motivate and inspire young players for them to realize individual and team success. Strong hands-on fundamentals knowledge instructs athletes in skills, strategies necessary to achieve success and the ability to act as a role model for the athletic program and school.  Applicant should possess:  Effective coaching techniques /fundamentals and skills. Instruct and demonstrate behaviors that lead to socially acceptable character development, self-discipline, self-confidence, and pride of accomplishment in the student athlete.  Uphold the dignity, honor and integrity of the coaching profession. The assistant coach should be d iligent in willingness to listen, learn, and grow.
