Bachelor's Degree from an approved institution. Or in an alternative cert. program to obtain a valid teaching certificate. The development, instruction, and mentorship of student athletes with a focus on the defensive side of the ball. Including but not contributing and implementing defensive schemes, techniques, film study, strength and conditioning coordination, and leadership development while supporting the overall goals and culture of the football program.  This person must be able to plan and implement a sound public school instructional program.  Must also communicate effectively with students, coworkers and patrons.  This person must keep informed of and comply with state, district, school, and UIL policies and regulations concerning primary job functions. We are currently seeking a Varsity Assistant Football/ Powerlifting/ Throwing Coach at TCS, a Christ-centered school committed to developing students academically, athletically, and spiritually.  Trinity has a rich tradition of success in our relatively young football program. We have only been playing football for 12 years in which time we have made the playoffs 8 of those years. We have played for a State Championship once, lost in the State Semi-Finals twice and most recently we competed in a larger division (5A) and narrowly missed the playoffs.   Our goal at TCS is to win a state championship in every sport we compete in; however, our Purpose is to grow in relationship with Jesus Christ and with others.
