ROLE AND PURPOSE:
Assist in delivering a quality football program that is rooted in education-based values, high expectations, consistency, and academic performance for all participating student athletes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION
Bachelor's degree
Valid Texas teaching certificate (No Health/PE)
CDL (Preferred, not required)
EXPERIENCE:
High school (or higher level) football coaching experience
General knowledge of football coaching techniques and procedures
Knowledge of University Interscholastic League (UIL) rules and regulations
Ability to develop, instruct, and supervise student athletes
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to)
Use a variety of instructional techniques and media to meet the needs and improve the abilities of student-athletes who participate in football.
