Primary Purpose
Provide leadership, supervision, and organization for the girls basketball program at the assigned campus. Develop student-athletes academically, athletically, and socially while promoting sportsmanship, discipline, leadership, and compliance with all rules and regulations established by the University Interscholastic League (UIL), school district, and the Texas Education Agency (TEA).
Qualifications
Education/Certification
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Valid Texas teaching certificate preferred or required by district
Valid CDL or ability to obtain CDL preferred
CPR, First Aid, and AED certification preferred
Completion of UIL-required coaching education and safety training
Special Knowledge/Skills
Knowledge of UIL rules, regulations, and eligibility requirements
