We are in search of a coach who is certified in 6-12 Social Studies or History.  Coaching position will be the best fit based on the candidates strengths & our needs.  This could be a boys or a girls coaching position.  This position could be Head Golf for the right candidate. Standard Flatonia ISD Pay Scale + Stipends per sport + CDL stipend + Summer workouts stipend. Valid Texas Teaching Certificate & a CDL or the ability to obtain are required. Looking for an experienced baseball coach who can also coach football.  Football position could be offensive or defensive position, so best fit. Teaching field is social studies. We just passed 2 bonds.  One for a new high school which will include a turf baseball facility and one for a new 7500 person district multipurpose stadium! We are a fast growing district and want someone who is ready to come in and help us further develop the program!

Teacher Responsibilities:   Develop and implement plans for the curriculum program assigned and show written evidence of preparation as required. Prepare lessons that reflect accommodation for individual student differences. Present the subject matter according to guidelines established by Texas Education Agency, board policies, campus policies, and administrative regulations. Employ a variety of instructional techniques and media consistent with the needs and capabilities of the student groups involved. Cooperate with other members of the staff in planning and implementing instructional goals, objectives, and methods in accordance with district requirements. Plan and supervise purposeful assignments for teacher aide(s) and/or volunteer(s). Employ the use of technologies in the teaching/learning process. The assistant organizes and directs individual and small group practice activities and exercises as instructed by the head coach and assists in determining game strategy. The candidate must be a highly effective classroom teacher and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. Prior knowledge of a Spread Offense is a plus.  Teaching Field: Social Studies. Science. SpEd. Must be fully certified.

Prior knowledge of a 4-2-5 Defense is a plus.  Teaching Field: Social Studies. Science. SpEd. Must be fully certified.
