ABOUT CONQUER PADEL JACKSONVILLE

Conquer Padel Jacksonville will open in March 2027 as Jacksonville’s first dedicated padel club, featuring five indoor courts, one outdoor court, approximately 2,000 sq. ft. of fitness space, premium recovery amenities, spa-style locker rooms with saunas, café, bar, lounges and a full pro shop. Our success will be defined by exceptional service, strong programming and the community we build.

THE ROLE

The Head Padel Professional will be the face of the padel operation and a key member of the club leadership team. This is a hands-on coaching and leadership role for someone who can develop players, lead programming, build relationships, retain members and help grow padel throughout Jacksonville and Northeast Florida. The Head Pro will have priority for private lessons and clinics while also taking ownership of important off-court responsibilities. Although the club is anticipated to open in March 2027, the successful candidate may be asked to relocate and begin earlier to assist with pre-opening setup, community outreach, promotion and launch preparation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver high-quality private, semi-private and group instruction for beginner through advanced players.

• Lead and continually develop adult and junior programming, including clinics, leagues, ladders, round robins, open play, social padel, camps, match play, tournaments and member events.

• Drive member engagement and retention: know the members, connect players of similar levels, guide new members into the right programming, help players find games and proactively re-engage members whose participation drops.

• Help lead the contracted coaching team, coordinate schedules and assignments, mentor coaches and maintain consistent Conquer coaching and service standards.

• Work alongside the General Manager on club operations, member experience, events, court utilization, membership initiatives and day-to-day execution.

• Actively introduce padel to Jacksonville’s tennis, pickleball, fitness, school, corporate and broader sporting communities.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Strong padel and/or racquet-sports background with demonstrated coaching and player-development ability.

• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for building relationships and community.

• Ability to balance a significant on-court schedule with programming, team leadership and operational responsibilities.

• High-energy, service-minded approach and willingness to take ownership during the launch and growth of a new club.

• RSPA certification preferred/required as determined by Conquer Padel; Conquer coaching and operational training will be provided.

COMPENSATION

Competitive base salary plus additional earning potential through commissions on private lessons, clinics and applicable programming. Compensation will be based on experience and overall fit. Relocation expenses will be available to out-of-city candidates if needed.

THE OPPORTUNITY
