North Garland Girls Athletics is seeking a motivated, organized, and student-centered Assistant Coach who is committed to developing student-athletes both on and off the field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school or middle school coaching experience is preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of  fundamentals, skill development, and player development.

  • Ability to teach and reinforce proper fundamentals at all skill levels.

  • Organized, dependable, motivated, and willing to take initiative.

  • Invested in building positive relationships with student-athletes.

  • Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, accountability, and a strong work ethic.

  • Understands that education-based athletics is about developing the whole student-athlete, not just winning games.

  • Works well as part of a coaching staff and supports the philosophy and expectations of the head coach and athletic program.

  • Willing to assist with practices, game preparation, equipment, supervision, transportation, and other program responsibilities.

  • Communicates effectively with athletes, coaches, parents, and campus administration.

  • Must have a CDL or be willing to obtain a CDL as required by the district.

  • Willing to coach a second sport within the girls athletic program.
