Position Overview

We are seeking an operationally independent, energetic Branch Manager to lead daily operations at one of our premier tennis centers. You will oversee court programming, facility management, program delivery, and staff leadership while ensuring our core values of health, community, and inclusivity are reflected on every court.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program & Schedule Management: Oversee execution, enrollment, ratios, and fill rates across junior/adult semester programs (JSP/ASP), camps, clinics, and mixers.
  • Team Leadership & Coaching: Manage coach schedules, conduct new coach training, and evaluate drill quality, clinic energy, and punctuality.
  • Coverage & Operations: Maintain full court and front desk coverage. Step in to cover classes or lines when necessary and manage Manager on Call (MOC) duties when scheduled.
  • Financial & Administrative Standards: Review semi-monthly payroll and courtsheets (16th & 1st), monitor pro shop inventory/expenses, prevent revenue leakage, and complete regular facility audits and surveys.
  • Marketing & Community Engagement: Actively promote local programs/events, keep marketing materials current, and deliver gold-standard customer service.
  • Incident Escalation & Safety: Promptly document incidents and communicate policy, cleanliness, or safety concerns to senior management in real time.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Tennis Coaching Background: Active coaching experience; ability to evaluate drill mechanics, clinic progression, and coach energy.
  • Leadership Experience  (5 years required): Proven track record leading staff and managing operations in a sports, recreation, or facility setting.
  • Operational Independence: Ability to run daily operations autonomously, delegate effectively when off-site, and hold staff accountable.
  • Financial & Scheduling Acumen: Comfortable handling class structure setups, waitlists, payroll reviews, and inventory controls.
  • Communication & Professionalism: Clear, timely communication with players, staff, municipal partners, and leadership.
  • Flexibility: Available during operating hours and scheduled Manager on Call (MOC) weekend/event shifts.
