Job Description

The focus of this role is to help lead, manage, create a best in class padel experience for our members and guests, paired with off-court responsibilities in program growth and community building.

The Head Padel Professional develops, promotes, and supervises padel programs for adults, children, and seniors, including instruction, tournaments, leagues, and junior programs. This role is central to establishing XCEL Padel as a premier destination for the sport, maximizing court utilization, and acting as an ambassador for the club among members and guests.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow programs and social media presence: Help expand padel programs across all skill levels and contribute to social media content that builds community engagement.Introduce new players to the game.
  • Design and lead beginner clinics, open court events, and intro-to-padel sessions to grow the player base among members and guests.
  • Elevate the coaching experience: Deliver high-quality, structured instruction for players of all levels, continuously improving session quality and player development outcomes.
  • Share knowledge with the coaching team: Collaborate with and support fellow coaches through knowledge sharing, best practices, and peer development.
  • Plan and execute programs: Organize and run adult, junior, and senior programs, including clinics, leagues, and tournaments.
  • Maximize court utilization: Actively promote and fill court bookings by creating engaging programming that meets member needs.
  • Act as a brand ambassador: Represent XCEL Padel professionally on and off the court, fostering a welcoming and inclusive culture for members and guests.
  • Track and communicate player progress: Monitor player development and provide personalized feedback to help players reach their goals.

Who You Are

  • Prior experience coaching padel or a related racquet sport, ideally across a range of skill levels.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with members, guests, and fellow coaches.
  • Comfortable planning and running clinics, leagues, and tournaments from concept through execution.
  • A team-first mentality and genuine enthusiasm for growing the sport.
  • Experience creating social media content is a plus.
  • Former competitive playing experience preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to work on-site across both the West Palm Beach and Westlake clubs, including evenings and weekends as programming requires.

Compensation & Benefits
Competitive base pay plus commission on private lessons. Benefits include club use during non-working hours, paid time off, and ongoing coaching education opportunities. No ceiling on teaching hours or program revenue generation. There is no ceiling!
