Middle school sports in Lubbock ISD participate in the Lubbock County Middle School competition league with Lubbock, Lubbock Cooper, and Frenship school districts. This eliminates out-of-town travel for our middle school teams and allows us to divide our competition district into two leagues, based on school enrollment.
This position is for a middle school girls coordinator. The coordinator will oversee three assistant coaches and coordinate and participate in the coaching of the following sports:
- cross country (3 meets and a championship)
- volleyball (11 games and an end-of-season tournament)
- basketball (11 games and an end-of-season tournament)
- wrestling (5 meets and a championship)
- track & field (4 meets and a zone championship)
The teaching position attached to this job is PE.
Teacher Salary Schedule pays based on years of experience. The recent pay raise approved by the Lubbock ISD school board has increased pay starting at $50,900 for someone with 0 years of experience.
+ $4,500 coaching stipend
+ 10 additional contract days at daily rate
