Abilene High School has an opening for assistant cross country and track coach.  Our cross country program is an established and strong program.  Our track programs are coming off a boys district championship and our girls team were the district runner up.  This job will assist the head coaches of the boys and girls cross country.  In track our boys and girls coaches combined to coach events. Middle school sports in Lubbock ISD participate in the Lubbock County Middle School competition league with Lubbock, Lubbock Cooper, and Frenship school districts. This eliminates out-of-town travel for our middle school teams and allows us to divide our competition district into two leagues, based on school enrollment.
