Coordinating the defensive side of the ball. Practice scripts, scheduling, philosophy/scheme, defensive calling, opponent breakdown. Current teaching field right now is Govt/Econ (average class size 9-12 kids) or Tech Apps, conference, 2 athletic periods, and a coordinators period. 

We are seeking an experienced Secondary Coach to join our high school football team. Familiarity with the 4-2-5 defensive scheme is a plus. The ideal candidate will be someone who connects well with students, brings positive energy to the team environment, and demonstrates strong leadership skills. Responsibilities: Coach Seconday, focusing on technique and strategy. Collaborate with the defensive coordinator to implement game plans. Develop and maintain a positive team culture that fosters student-athlete growth. Engage with students in a way that encourages their participation and enthusiasm.

Birdville High School is looking for a varsity defensive assistant working with either LB or DB.  Certification can be Social Studies or CTE/Business Possible 2nd sport tied to this position.  Compensation: BISD Teacher Pay Scale + stipends.
