Our baseball program has been to the State Tournament the last 3 years. We are Back to Back State Champions in baseball. Our Basketball program played for the Regional Championship this year. Our Cross Country program has placed in the Top 10 the last two years, we came in 2nd place this year.  Qualifications: Must have been a coordinator and called plays for a successful varsity program. If you are an OC you will run our system. If you are a DC our personnel fits a 3-down front. Our coaches teach class this will not be a sit and pass out work sheets type of school enviornment in the class room. Forney HS Football is looking to add an offensive skill position coach (WRs, RBs, or TEs) to our coaching staff. We have been to the playoffs in 5 consecutive years including a state semifinal run in 2023. FISD Salary is highly competitive and can be found on the website. Stipends for football and 2nd sport are also highly competitive. 2nd sport could be track, baseball, or wrestling. South Garland High School is seeking a Varsity Girls Basketball Assistant Coach for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the game and a solid basketball foundation, with the ability to teach fundamentals and support program development. This coach must be committed to motivating, mentoring, and building relationships with all athletes while promoting a positive team culture. Responsibilities include assisting with practices, game preparation, skill development, and supporting the head coach in all aspects of the program. Must be CDL certified or be willing to obtain within first year of employment.
