The Middle School Teacher/Coach is responsible for creating a high-achieving academic classroom environment while simultaneously developing student-athletes in assigned sports. This role requires instructing students in physical education during the school day and coaching athletic teams before, during, or after school. The ultimate goal is to instill the Carroll ISD "tradition of excellence", emphasizing strong character, sportsmanship, and academic success.

ROLE AND PURPOSE: Deliver a quality volleyball program that is rooted in education-based values, high expectations, consistency, academic performance, and transformational leadership for all who participate. QUALIFICATIONS : EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION Bachelor's degree Valid Texas teaching certificate in Physical Education EXPERIENCE: General knowledge of volleyball coaching techniques and procedures Ability to develop, instruct, and supervise student athletes Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to) Use a variety of instructional techniques and media to meet the needs and improve the abilities of student-athletes who participate in Middle School Athletics.
