Position: Freshman Football / Freshman Basketball School: Lamar High School – Arlington ISD (6A) Teaching Field: Social Studies or Core Certification Lamar High School is seeking a high-energy teacher/coach to join the Viking athletic program. The position includes coaching Freshman Football and Freshman Basketball and teaching in the Social Studies or Core content area. Responsible for all aspects of the program, including developing training and game plans, managing assistant coaches, and ensuring student athletes are eligible and adhere to school and UIL rules . Key duties include coordinating practices and games, teaching skills and strategy, promoting sportsmanship, and maintaining communication with students, parents, and the school administration. The coach must also manage the budget and care for equipment and facilities.
