DeSoto High School is seeking a dynamic, student-centered leader to serve as Head Volleyball Coach. The ideal candidate will build a competitive program that emphasizes athletic excellence, academic achievement, character development, and community pride.
Primary Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of the high school volleyball program (varsity, JV, and freshman levels)
Develop and implement year-round training, strength, and skill development plans
Foster a positive, disciplined, and team-oriented culture
Monitor academic progress and promote student-athlete success
Hire, supervise, and evaluate assistant coaches
Coordinate scheduling, equipment, and program operations
Engage with parents, campus staff, and the community
Qualifications:
Valid Texas teaching certification (or ability to obtain)
Demonstrated experience coaching volleyball at the high school or collegiate level
