Primary Purpose of Position:
The Head Volleyball Coach will lead and manage the volleyball program at the high school level and support vertical alignment within the athletic cluster. Under the direction of the Athletic Coordinator, Campus Principal, and Executive Director of Athletics, the coach is responsible for developing student-athletes, maintaining a comprehensive and competitive volleyball program, and fulfilling all campus and district expectations as a classroom teacher.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide high quality instruction in the assigned teaching content area.
Implement effective instructional strategies aligned with NEISD curriculum and standards.
Coordinate all aspects of the girls’ soccer program in grades 9-12.
Assist with vertical alignment and support for middle school volleyball programs as needed.
Design and implement offensive and defensive systems appropriate for high school athletes....
