Mesquite ISD high school swim program is seeking a motivated and dependable Assistant Swim Coach  to support the continued growth and development of our student-athletes. This role involves assisting with daily practices, supporting meet operations, helping build positive team culture, and contributing to the overall success of the program. The ideal candidate is someone who is reliable, organized, and proactive, with a passion for working with student-athletes and developing swimmers both in and out of the water. The assistant coach would assist the head coach over all 5 schools in the District. Sport: Level Softball: JV/Varsity Description Currently 1 opening, TBD on whether it is a Varsity Assistant or a JV Coach Opening. Salary - depends on experience Stipend- JV$3,250 or VA $4,500 2nd sport: Yes for JV coach / None for Varsity Assistant Responsibilities Responsible for supporting the Head Coach in the supervision and development of the program. Duties include, but are not limited to: Assisting with planning and running game and practice sessions. Supporting the weekly monitoring of student-athletes and academic progress. CDL certifcaiton to drive a school bus. Assisting with community events and special nights. Carrying out assignments and tasks as directed by the Head Coach or Athletic Director.
