Magnolia High School has an opening for a Defensive Assistant Coach (DL preferred) with a 2nd sport. Candidate must be passionate and energetic and be able to provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth.   Defensive experience required.  2nd sport has flexibility (Soccer, Tennis, Track are possible).   Looking for someone who can be part of the team and can help develop skills and strategies in the sports assigned.   CDL preferred and/or willing to obtain one upon employment Core certifications preferred - but possible to have a PE or a SPED spot. Dawson is looking for an inspirational coach to lead and manage all aspects of our successful 6A volleyball program. Seeking program builder who will vertically align program from youth through Varsity level. Must be committed to strong strength and conditioning program in the off season. Dawson HS has great culture, community, and tradition and is conveniently located SE Houston. Responsible for all aspects of the program, including developing training and game plans, managing assistant coaches, and ensuring student athletes are eligible and adhere to school and UIL rules . Key duties include coordinating practices and games, teaching skills and strategy, promoting sportsmanship, and maintaining communication with students, parents, and the school administration. The coach must also manage the budget and care for equipment and facilities.
