BASIC FUNCTION To oversee and manage the Veritas Academy sports team for the duration of the season, with responsibilities including all facets of coaching, communicating with parents, scheduling practices, attending games and providing mentorship to student athletes. Duties & Responsibilities Organize and hold preseason communication meetings with players and parents, including “Meet the Coach” night prior to the start of the season. Work with the Athletics Director and athletic staff to coordinate the schedule of all games, practices and related activities. Show total commitment during the season, including being at practice and games early, staying until all players have left, and never missing a practice. Looking for a head district athletic trainer who will oversee the well being of the student athletes in grades 7-12.  You will have an assistant who is contracted, but will assist with practices and games. You will be on a 207 day contract and receive a $10K stipend on top. Must be licensed. No teaching responsibilities.
